It is necessary to obtain permission from the local council via a permit for skips that are to be placed on public highways. Each of our three commonly hired domestic skips (4-yard midi, 6-yard midi, 8-yard builder’s skip) are perfectly sized to fit on household driveways or gardens. This means they’ll be out of the way and won’t block roads or public access. If no driveway is available, these skips are small enough to take up around the same amount of road space as a parked car.
